The Role
Manage indirect purchasing activities autonomously, contributing to cost optimisation, the development of strong supplier relationships, and contract negotiation. This role will bring technical expertise and sound judgement to the department, ensuring alignment between business needs and an efficient, sustainable, and competitive supply chain.
What You’ll Do
Manage the end-to-end indirect purchasing cycle, from needs identification through award and ongoing contract management.
Coordinate and execute sourcing and supplier evaluation processes, identifying the best options in terms of price, quality, and service conditions.
Negotiate contracts and framework agreements with suppliers, securing competitive terms, mitigating risks, and ensuring contractual compliance.
Build and consolidate strategic relationships with key suppliers, fostering continuous improvement, innovation, and mutual value creation.
Analyse indirect spend and identify savings and efficiency opportunities, actively contributing to budget control.
Collaborate cross-functionally with Finance, Legal, and Operations to align purchasing strategy with business objectives.
Ensure compliance with internal purchasing policies, corporate procedures, and applicable regulations.
Act as the go-to reference for internal stakeholders on indirect purchasing matters, providing expertise and solutions to complex queries.
What you will bring to Stark
Degree in Business Administration, International Trade, Engineering, or similar.
Experience: 3–5 years in an Indirect Purchasing role or managing similar categories.
Advanced Excel, ERP systems (Microsoft Dynamics a plus), spend analysis tools.
Fluent or bilingual Spanish; advanced English (C1 or above).
