The Role
The Operations department at Stark Future produce cutting-edge motorcycles from the ground up. As Maintenance Technician, you'll be at the forefront of the production of next-generation electric motorcycles & associated products. We expect you to help Stark become the leader in production and vehicle technology, resulting in better performance, quality and cost.
You’ll be responsible for maintaining and repairing the tools, machines and facilities. At the same time providing support to the production assembly lines. You will assist on Stark’s facilities maintenance with a hands-on approach.
You will report directly to the Head of Maintenance, becoming a key member of a growing team of engineers, and technicians in Barcelona. You'll need to have experience in maintenance and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, evolving, and highly innovative environment.
What You’ll Do
Collaborate with the creation of maintenance systems in all the needs of the company.
Guarantee production on time and quality by having all tools and machinery in correct working order.
Support and follow up external resources providing maintenance services.
Create and updated Purchase Orders of tools and spares to guarantee the accomplishment of the maintenance plan.
Work together with supply chain team to keep a safety stock of key spares and tools.
Keep key performance indicators up to date and report any deviation.
Collaborate with industrialization and prototyping of production line modifications and implementations.
Follow the maintenance processes and procedures. Give feedback and propose improvements.
Develop and ensure along with quality verification routines.
Implement continuous improvement processes and Lean manufacturing, introducing predictive and preventive maintenance techniques.
Collaborate with production and quality teams, to implement improvement points.
Deliver actions towards sustainability and environmentally safe.
Support the entire organization.
Report weekly to your manager
Promote the cleanliness, maintenance and good use of the facilities.
What you will bring to Stark
Electronic technicians.
Mechanical and pneumatic knowledge
Maintenance experience in the battery or automotive industry or similar is highly appreciated.
Knowledge of PLC (Siemens Tia Portal), drives and robotics.
Availability to work in shifts and weekends (if necessary).
Confident working with hand tools.
Safety minded.
Demonstrated ability for teamwork and cooperation between key stakeholders.
Comfortable in a fast-paced, ever-evolving, highly innovative environment (startups or high-tech companies).
You have high standards for yourself and everyone you work with.
Constantly looking for ways to innovate, improving your products performance, quality, and cost.
Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills. English is highly appreciated.
