The Role
Stark Future is scaling rapidly in North America. As a pure sales entity, the U.S. subsidiary requires a hands-on, highly autonomous Finance Manager to own the entire local finance function. This is (at the moment) a one-person finance setup with strong focus on Accounts Receivable and cash performance, combined with responsibility for local accounting, payables, banking, reporting and compliance. You will act as the financial backbone of the North American entity — ensuring transparency, discipline, and scalable structures while supporting commercial growth.
What You’ll Do
Order-to-Cash & AR Leadership (Primary Focus)
Full ownership of billing, collections and dispute management
Active DSO management and structured collection strategy
Customer credit assessments and risk monitoring
Cash application and AR reconciliation
Close alignment with Sales to improve payment discipline
Work together with financing partners
Accounting & Closing
Maintain local books in alignment with IFRS reporting
Monthly, quarterly and year-end close
Reconcile subledgers (AR, AP, bank) to GL
Ensure clean and audit-ready financials
Support external accountants and auditors where applicable
Accounts Payable & Expense Management
Process and book vendor invoices
Ensure timely payments
Maintain internal control standards
Monitor operating expenses vs. budget
Banking & Cash Management
Manage local bank accounts
Execute and monitor payments
Support weekly cash forecasting
Partner with Group Treasury on liquidity planning
Reporting & Business Support
Prepare monthly financial reporting package to Group
Deliver AR aging, DSO and cash KPIs
Provide financial transparency to the U.S. MD
Support budgeting and forecasting process
Improve financial processes and ERP setup
What you will bring to Stark
At least 4 years of experience in accounting/finance
Strong hands-on mentality — not afraid to execute
Deep understanding of AR and cash management
Experience in small entity or startup environment preferred
Strong knowledge of IFRS
ERP experience (Dynamics preferred)
Structured, independent, and solution-oriented
Comfortable operating in a fast-scaling environment
