The Role
While Stark is becoming the global market leader in motocross and premium motorcycles, we need your help to support the growth path of the company by ensuring transparency and process optimization. You are a multifaceted professional: A data enthusiast with a passion for transparency and accuracy that combines strong analytical skills with strategic thinking, adaptability, technological proficiency and very good communication throughout the different layers of a company. Additionally, you are adept at establishing and maintaining robust production and sales controlling processes, providing critical insights that drive operational efficiency and informed decision-making.
What You’ll Do
Group Accounting & Consolidation:
Lead the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual consolidated financial statements in compliance with IFRS/local GAAP.
Ensure accurate and timely group reporting, including intercompany reconciliations and eliminations.
Oversee the implementation and maintenance of accounting policies and procedures across all entities.
Manage audits and coordinate with external auditors to ensure smooth year-end closing.
Treasury:
Manage group liquidity planning, cash flow forecasting, and funding requirements.
Optimize working capital and cash management across the group.
Maintain banking relationships and negotiate financing arrangements as needed.
Implement and monitor treasury policies, including foreign exchange risk and hedging strategies.
Tax:
Oversee tax compliance across all entities, ensuring adherence to local and international tax regulations.
Manage corporate income tax filings, VAT, and other indirect taxes.
Lead tax planning and optimization initiatives to ensure efficient tax structures.
Liaise with external tax advisors and authorities as required.
Financial Controls & Compliance:
Establish and maintain strong internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
Continuously monitor and improve internal processes to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and compliance.
Ensure compliance with statutory and regulatory reporting requirements in all jurisdictions.
Strategic Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A):
Support budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial planning processes at the group level.
Analyze financial performance and provide actionable insights to senior management to support decision-making.
Collaborate closely with business units to align financial goals with operational objectives.
Risk Management:
Identify and manage financial risks, including currency, interest rate, liquidity, and credit risks.
Develop and implement risk mitigation strategies in collaboration with the CFO and other stakeholders
Stakeholder Communication:
Prepare financial reports and presentations for executive management, board meetings, and investors.
Act as a key contact for financial matters across business units and external stakeholders (e.g., banks, auditors, tax authorities).
Systems & Process Improvement:
Lead or contribute to the implementation and continuous enhancement of financial systems and tools (e.g., ERP, consolidation software).
Drive process optimization and digitalization initiatives to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the finance function.
Team Leadership & Development:
Manage, mentor, and develop finance team members across different locations.
Build a high-performing team culture that promotes accountability, continuous improvement, and professional growth.
Plan resource needs and support recruitment where necessary
What you will bring to Stark
Bachelor’s or master’s degree in finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field.
CPA, ACCA, Chartered Accountant, or equivalent qualification preferred.
7+ years of progressive experience in finance, including leadership roles.
Strong expertise in consolidation, treasury management, tax compliance, and financial controls.
Solid knowledge of IFRS and local GAAP; experience with international group structures is a plus.
Proven experience working with auditors, tax authorities, and financial institutions.
Proficient in financial systems (e.g., ERP, consolidation tools).
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Experience in M&A transactions is an advantage.

Compliance with all tax filing deadlines and accuracy of tax returns across jurisdictions.

Achievement of optimal working capital levels and efficient treasury operations.
Identification and implementation of tax optimization opportunities, resulting in measurable savings.
Maintenance of strong internal controls with no significant compliance breaches or control failures.
Delivery of reliable and insightful financial reports to management and stakeholders on time.
Completion of budgeting and forecasting processes within agreed timelines and with high accuracy.
Proactive identification and mitigation of financial risks (e.g., FX, credit, liquidity).
Successful implementation or enhancement of financial systems and tools, improving process efficiency.
Positive feedback from auditors, tax advisors, and external stakeholders regarding financial governance.
Development of a high-performing finance team, evidenced by team engagement, retention, and skill growth.
Effective collaboration and communication with other departments and business units.
Contribution to M&A activities, including smooth integration of financial processes (if applicable).
Continuous improvement initiatives lead to measurable process optimizations and cost savings.
